Salary: $190000 - $224000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network and computer systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all systems and provide technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's network and computer systems, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, inventory lists, and user manuals.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all systems by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
• Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Train and mentor junior systems administrators.
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
• Monitor and manage system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve any potential issues.
• Act as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, and make recommendations for improvements to our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of network and system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with network security and firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), are a plus.
