Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain databases to meet the needs of the organization
Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
Plan and implement database upgrades, patches, and migrations
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing backup and recovery strategies
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards and procedures
Lead a team of database administrators, providing guidance and support
Train and mentor junior database administrators
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database meets business requirements
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in database technologies and make recommendations for improvement
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
Proven experience in database design, implementation, and maintenance
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in leading and managing a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with data governance and security best practices
