Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our company by providing strategic insights and recommendations through data analysis and business understanding. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, to identify and analyze business opportunities, challenges, and trends, and develop solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive analysis of business processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT development
• Develop and maintain business intelligence and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to inform business decisions
• Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and drive consensus on solutions
• Create and maintain documentation such as project plans, business process models, and user stories to support project delivery
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for adoption
• Mentor and coach junior business analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development
• Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues, and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal role
• Proven experience in conducting business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• In-depth knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to various stakeholders
• Proven experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach team members
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable, but not required.
