Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Principal Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As the Principal Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall data architecture for our organization, ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives and meets our data management needs. You will also be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our data systems and databases, and providing strategic guidance and leadership in all data-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall data architecture for the organization, including data models, data integration strategies, data security protocols, and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data architecture solutions that support and drive our business objectives.
• Lead the design and development of our data systems and databases, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Develop and maintain data standards, best practices, and guidelines for data management, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all data sources.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership in data-related decision making, both at the strategic and operational levels.
• Identify and evaluate new data technologies and tools, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance our data capabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data architecture diagrams.
• Mentor and coach junior data architects and data engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data architecture solutions in a complex business environment.
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling, data integration, data security, and data governance principles and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in data management tools and technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and ETL tools.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale data projects on time and within budget.
