About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior API Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our API infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient API solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, excellent programming skills, and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our API infrastructure to support our rapidly growing business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to gather requirements and develop solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in compliance with company standards and best practices
• Optimize API performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve API issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with latest API trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development
• Strong experience with RESTful web services and API design principles
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Extensive experience with API frameworks, such as Swagger or Postman
• Knowledge of API security and authentication protocols, such as OAuth and JWT
• Experience with API testing and debugging tools, such as Postman or SoapUI
• Familiarity with database design and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Prior experience in a senior or lead developer role is preferred
