As a Junior Network Engineer, you will work closely with our senior engineers to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of network solutions to support business requirements
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Conduct regular network maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any network-related problems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhance network efficiency
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
• Work closely with other departments to understand their networking needs and provide solutions accordingly
• Assist in the development of network security protocols and procedures to protect against cyber threats
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours network support if required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software
• Basic understanding of network security principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are a plus
