Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's cybersecurity strategies and protocols. You will work closely with our senior cybersecurity engineers to ensure the protection of our company's sensitive data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the security of our organization's information systems and data.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Utilize various security tools and technologies to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
• Participate in the design and implementation of security controls and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to ensure our organization's security protocols are current and effective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security best practices throughout the organization.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Assist in the development and delivery of cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all security protocols, procedures, and incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
• Knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
• Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and security audit processes.
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners and SIEM solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
