About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal IT Auditor to join our team. As a Principal IT Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company's IT systems and processes are designed and operating effectively to meet business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to C-suite executives, to identify risks and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of the company's IT systems and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
• Develop and execute detailed audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of IT controls, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct on-site and remote audits, ensuring compliance with audit standards and procedures, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Analyze and assess the effectiveness of existing IT security controls and make recommendations for enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the company's compliance.
• Prepare and present audit findings, reports, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop and implement action plans to address audit findings and improve IT processes and controls.
• Lead and mentor junior IT auditors and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or information security.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control systems.
• Proven experience in conducting IT audits, analyzing data, and identifying control deficiencies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as SOX, GDPR, and data privacy laws.
• Experience with auditing cloud-based systems, data analytics, and emerging technologies is a plus.
