Job Title: Software Architect
Location: New York, New York, United States
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $115 Per hour
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex software systems that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for leading the development team and ensuring that our software solutions are scalable, robust, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop architectural designs and blueprints for software systems, ensuring they align with the organization's overall strategy and objectives
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and technologies
- Design and implement software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into our software architecture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or a similar role
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software systems
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus
