Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data models to support our organization's data management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models.
• Design and develop data models for various business applications, including data warehouses, data marts, and operational databases.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry-standard modeling tools.
• Analyze data requirements and identify data sources to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Develop data standards and guidelines to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization.
• Work closely with Data Architects and Database Administrators to ensure data models are aligned with the overall data architecture.
• Conduct data modeling reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and analyze data model performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Identify and address data model issues and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest data modeling trends and technologies and recommend improvements to the existing data modeling processes.
• Mentor and train junior data modelers on best practices and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and development.
• Strong experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Proficient in SQL and database programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data integration concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
