Position Title: Backend Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our backend systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our website and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using modern technologies and best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
- Work with the QA team to identify and fix any bugs or performance issues.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and provide insights to improve system scalability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in backend development.
- Proactively identify and address any potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Extensive knowledge of database design and management.
- Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
