Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Release Manager to join our team. The Software Release Manager will play a crucial role in managing the release process of our software products, ensuring timely and high-quality releases to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain release schedules for multiple software products, taking into consideration project timelines, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Coordinate with product management, development, quality assurance, and other teams to ensure that all release requirements are met.
• Communicate release schedules, status updates, and issues to stakeholders and leadership team.
• Develop and maintain release documentation, including release notes, installation guides, and user manuals.
• Implement and maintain release management tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of releases.
• Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to the release process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools related to release management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software release management.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing complex release schedules for multiple software products.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with release management tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, including software testing and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with software deployment processes and technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
