Salary: $92 Per hour

Job Overview: As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to design, implement, and maintain network security protocols that protect our systems and data from cyber threats. Your role will involve continuously monitoring our network for potential vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and recommending and implementing security solutions to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
• Monitor network traffic and activity to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest network security threats and trends, and implement appropriate measures to safeguard our systems.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure security protocols are integrated into all network systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure compliance across the organization.
• Perform regular security testing and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of our security measures.
• Investigate and resolve security breaches and other cyber threats, and provide recommendations for preventing future incidents.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to network security, and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Prepare and present reports to management on network security status, incidents, and recommended solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security roles.
• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud security and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network security issues.
• Proven experience in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CEH are a plus.
