Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Security Specialist to join our team. As the Lead Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and protocols to protect our company's assets and information. You will also be responsible for managing a team of security professionals and ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to protect our company's assets and information.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks in new projects and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches and take appropriate action.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our security posture.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, standards, and best practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Hands-on experience in managing security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are preferred.
