We are currently seeking a Senior Game Tester to join our team and help us continue to create high-quality games.

Position Overview: As a Senior Game Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games. You will be responsible for testing games at different stages of development, identifying and reporting bugs, and providing valuable feedback to the development team. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all issues are addressed and resolved before the game is released to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test games at various stages of development, including alpha, beta, and release candidate versions
• Identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues in the game
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve reported issues
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for each game
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving game design, functionality, and user experience
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved
• Monitor game performance and provide recommendations for optimization
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game testing
• Mentor and train junior game testers, providing guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a game tester, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies
• Proficient in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
• Experience with various gaming platforms, including PC, console, and mobile
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report issues effectively
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of what makes a great game
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
