Position: Principal IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $320000 - $360000

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal IT Infrastructure Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Principal IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our infrastructure meets the needs of our organization and supports our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our company's IT infrastructure strategy, including network, servers, storage, and cloud infrastructure
• Manage a team of IT infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT infrastructure solutions that support business objectives
• Develop and maintain IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and reliability of our systems
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure trends and technologies, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets, ensuring they are in line with company goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical background in networking, servers, storage, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven experience in managing and delivering complex IT infrastructure projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security measures
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
• Strong budget management skills and experience developing and managing budgets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Certifications in IT infrastructure management, such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS, are highly desirable
