Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mobile QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Principal Mobile QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile products, as well as the overall user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications, including functional, usability, compatibility, and performance testing
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA Engineers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile testing
- Continuously improve and streamline the QA process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in mobile QA testing
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing of mobile applications
- Strong understanding of mobile development and testing frameworks
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools and test management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
