Salary: $114000 - $144000

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Data Privacy Officer to join our team and assist us in maintaining compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.

Job Overview: As a Junior Data Privacy Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Data Privacy team in implementing and maintaining our data privacy program. You will work closely with the Data Privacy Officer and other team members to ensure that all data privacy policies and procedures are followed, and that our organization is in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential privacy risks and make recommendations for improvement.
• Review and update data privacy notices and consent forms.
• Respond to data privacy inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor changes in data privacy laws and regulations and make recommendations for necessary updates to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data privacy considerations are included in all projects and initiatives.
• Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.
• Assist in managing data privacy incidents and breaches, including conducting investigations and reporting to relevant authorities.
• Provide data privacy training and awareness to employees to ensure compliance with data privacy policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data privacy or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.
• Experience in conducting data privacy audits and assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a plus.
