Position: Senior IT Systems Analyst

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems analysis and design, with a proven track record of implementing successful solutions in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing IT systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Design and develop IT systems and solutions to address business needs and enhance efficiency
• Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Ensure all IT systems and solutions meet quality standards and align with best practices
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for implementing new systems and processes
• Train and mentor junior analysts and developers, and provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and resolve any technical issues or roadblocks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis and design
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing IT systems and solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• In-depth understanding of database design and management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Project management experience is a plus
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies is a plus
