Salary: $228000 - $256000

Position Overview: As the Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for our company. You will play a critical role in driving the adoption of cloud technologies and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment. This is a leadership position, and you will be responsible for managing a team of cloud engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services, designing network architecture, and establishing security protocols.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and security teams, to ensure the seamless integration of cloud infrastructure with our applications and systems.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation in our environment.
• Create and maintain documentation for all cloud infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud environment, including implementing appropriate security controls and conducting regular security audits.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors, ensuring the timely resolution of any issues or outages.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a cloud engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Extensive experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure components, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are a plus.
