Salary: $138 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Warehouse Specialist to join our dynamic team. As the Principal Data Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our data warehouse systems, ensuring their efficiency, accuracy, and security. You will be a key player in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our data warehouse infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our data warehouse systems, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and implement data warehouse strategies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the data warehouse environment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data warehouse issues, identifying and resolving any data quality, performance, or technical problems in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation to support data warehouse processes and systems.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in data warehouse best practices, ensuring their growth and development.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging data warehouse technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular audits and tests to ensure the security and compliance of our data warehouse systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data warehousing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and technologies, such as ETL, SQL, OLAP, and data modeling.
• Proven experience with data warehouse design, development, and implementation, preferably in a large-scale environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
• Certifications in data warehousing, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), are highly desirable.
