Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Release Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the release of software products to meet the needs and expectations of our clients. The Junior Release Manager will work closely with the development team, project managers, and various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to understand the scope of each release and create a detailed release plan
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify and prioritize release requirements
• Manage the release process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Create and maintain release documentation, including release notes, installation guides, and user manuals
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure that all releases meet the required standards
• Monitor and track release progress, providing regular updates to the team and stakeholders
• Communicate any issues or delays in the release process to the relevant parties and work towards finding solutions
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the release process and improve efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to release management
• Train and mentor junior team members on release management processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in release management, software development, or a related field
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release processes
• Proficient in project management tools and release management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
