We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Software Build Engineer to join our team.

Job Overview: As a Junior Software Build Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of software products. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software is built and deployed efficiently and accurately. You will also play a key role in maintaining our build infrastructure and implementing continuous integration and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and excellent technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure that software builds are completed accurately and on time
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot build issues and implement solutions
• Maintain and improve the build process and build infrastructure
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and automation processes to streamline software builds
• Develop and maintain build scripts and tools to automate the build process
• Monitor and report on build status and identify any potential issues or delays
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software development tools and technologies and make recommendations for process improvements
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that software builds meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule
• Document and communicate build processes and procedures to team members
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure code quality and consistency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in software development or build engineering
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
• Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
• Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies
