Job Title: Lead Automation Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies, processes, and tools for the company
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and design scalable solutions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and frameworks
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
• Troubleshoot and debug complex automation issues
• Monitor and analyze automation metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation and software engineering
• Lead and mentor junior automation engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles
• Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders and senior management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure automation solutions align with business objectives and requirements
• Participate in the planning and execution of software testing to ensure high-quality deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and automation engineering
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Extensive experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with web services and API testing
• Knowledge of database management and SQL
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
