Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure, utilizing industry-leading tools and techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for various cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Work closely with software developers to integrate automation into the development and testing processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud automation, and continuously evaluate and implement new tools and techniques
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of automation solutions
Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in the cloud environment
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and reports on the progress of automation projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud automation, with a strong focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security
Proven experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform
In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers is a plus
Certifications in cloud technologies and automation tools are highly desirable
