Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain cloud automation infrastructure
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud resources
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of automation tools into the software development lifecycle
Work closely with operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud automation
Continuously improve and optimize existing automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Research and evaluate new automation tools and technologies to enhance the existing cloud infrastructure
Implement and maintain security measures to ensure the protection and integrity of data stored in the cloud
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior automation engineers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud automation, preferably in a large-scale environment
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Extensive knowledge of automation tools and technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, etc.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of networking and security principles in a cloud environment
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
