As a Junior Big Data Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and analysis of large and complex data sets. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of big data solutions
• Collect, organize, and analyze large and complex data sets using various tools and techniques
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges
• Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in big data technologies
• Provide support to senior team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
