Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage database migration projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
Work closely with clients to understand their data migration needs and requirements.
Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans to ensure a smooth and successful migration.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
Perform data mapping and transformation to ensure compatibility between source and target databases.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the migration process.
Document all migration processes and procedures for future reference.
Provide training and support to users on the new database system.
Continuously monitor and improve the database migration process to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management and migration.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of database systems such as SQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
Experience with ETL tools and data mapping.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
