About the Role: Lobox is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy highly available and scalable cloud-based solutions using industry best practices
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain automation tools for managing our cloud infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of our cloud-based services
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues
• Implement security measures to protect our cloud-based applications and data
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production issues as needed
• Document and maintain technical specifications and system diagrams
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably with AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services including virtualization, storage, networking, and security
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripting
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus
