Salary: $152000 - $192000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Network Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all aspects of our network security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, upgrade, and maintain network security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
• Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and take appropriate action to defend against them.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any potential weaknesses in the network.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our network security systems.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide training and support to employees on best practices for network security.
• Investigate and resolve any security breaches or incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining network security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
• Extensive knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CEH, are highly desirable.
