Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive automation strategy for our company, including infrastructure, code deployment, and monitoring processes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new features and services are designed with automation in mind.
Design and implement automated processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and code deployment.
Work closely with operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation processes.
Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of our automation systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert on automation best practices and provide guidance and training to other team members.
Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology and make recommendations for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that automation processes are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure that automation processes are secure and compliant with industry standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for all automation processes and systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or automation engineering role.
Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable automation solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
