Job Title: Principal Blockchain Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $135 Per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Blockchain Specialist to join our team. As the Principal Blockchain Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative blockchain solutions for our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of blockchain technology, from conceptualization to execution, and ensuring the successful integration of blockchain into our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement blockchain strategies and solutions to enhance our company's operations and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where blockchain technology can be applied to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in blockchain technology to continuously improve our offerings.
• Lead the development and maintenance of blockchain networks, including selecting the appropriate platforms, protocols, and consensus algorithms.
• Design and implement blockchain-based smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of blockchain solutions to ensure their functionality and security.
• Identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities in blockchain systems and implement appropriate security measures.
• Train and mentor team members on blockchain technology and its applications.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate blockchain solutions into our business processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert on blockchain technology and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in blockchain technology.
• In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, including its underlying principles, protocols, and consensus algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Solidity, Java, or C++.
• Experience with blockchain development platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda.
• Solid experience with smart contracts, decentralized applications, and blockchain security.
• Knowledge of cryptography and encryption techniques.
• Proven experience in leading and managing blockchain projects from conception to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
