Position: Senior Cloud Migration Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Migration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of cloud solutions, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their digital transformation goals. The Senior Cloud Migration Specialist will play a critical role in helping our clients migrate their data and applications to the cloud, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition. This is a hands-on, technical position that requires extensive experience in cloud technology and migration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end cloud migration projects for our clients, from planning and design to execution and post-migration support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to develop and execute customized migration strategies for each client
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current infrastructure and applications to determine the best approach for migration
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that all project milestones are met
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients during the migration process, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
• Analyze and optimize cloud environments to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness for clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technology trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement to internal processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud technology, with a focus on migration
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Strong knowledge of migration methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex cloud migration projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Results-driven mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable
