Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an API Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing API integrations for our company. This is a crucial role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs into our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop API integrations to connect our systems with third-party APIs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for API integration.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve any technical issues related to API integration.
• Conduct thorough testing of API integrations to ensure functionality and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot API integrations on an ongoing basis to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for API integrations, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest API technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to existing integrations.
• Work closely with external partners and vendors to establish and maintain API integrations.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners for API integration-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in API integration development and implementation.
• Strong understanding of API principles, protocols, and technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP.
• Experience with API management tools, such as Postman, Apigee, or MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with database management and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
