Salary: $270000 - $310000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Software Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Software Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the deployment and release management processes for our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely deployment of software releases and updates to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment and release management processes for our software products, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define deployment strategies for new software releases and updates.
• Develop and maintain deployment plans, release notes, and other documentation related to software releases.
• Manage the deployment pipeline and ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software deployments and releases.
• Continuously improve the deployment and release management processes to increase efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software deployment and release management.
• Strong experience with deployment tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of software development processes, including Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality software products.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
