Job Description: Lobox is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Virtualization Specialist to join our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a Junior Virtualization Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization solutions for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' IT infrastructure is optimized for performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement virtualization solutions using industry-leading technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix
• Perform virtualization assessments to identify areas for optimization and improvement
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain virtualization standards and best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Provide support and technical guidance to clients on virtualization-related issues
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest virtualization trends and technologies
• Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring that virtualization solutions are delivered on time and within budget
• Create and maintain documentation for virtualization systems, processes, and procedures
• Identify and recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate virtualization solutions with other systems and applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in virtualization, cloud computing, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix
• Experience with virtualization management tools and platforms, such as vCenter, SCVMM, and XenCenter
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and server technologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Certifications in virtualization technologies, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) is a plus
