Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement virtualization solutions for both server and desktop environments
Provide technical expertise and support for virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of virtualized systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization infrastructure
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for virtualized environments
Conduct regular capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure optimal utilization of resources
Develop and maintain documentation for virtualization systems and procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest virtualization technologies and make recommendations for improvement and optimization
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new virtualization technologies and tools
Train and mentor junior members of the team on virtualization best practices and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization infrastructure
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix
Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning for virtualized environments
Familiarity with cloud-based virtualization solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
Proven experience in capacity planning and performance tuning
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Relevant certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), are a plus
