Job Title: Principal Virtualization Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Virtualization Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Virtualization Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualized environments for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their virtualization needs and provide them with innovative solutions to help them achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments for our clients.
• Work closely with clients to understand their virtualization needs and provide them with tailored solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and support for virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to virtualization infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain virtualization best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest virtualization technologies and trends.
• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Train and mentor junior team members on virtualization technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualized environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.
• Experience with virtualization management tools and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven experience in project management and leading a team.
• Relevant certifications in virtualization technologies will be an added advantage.
