Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cloud security strategies and procedures to safeguard our company's cloud infrastructure and applications.
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs to identify and respond to any security incidents or breaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security measures throughout the entire cloud environment.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud security and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of our security controls.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members and assist in their professional development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, preferably in a senior or lead role.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Hands-on experience with scripting and automation for security tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are a plus.
