Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Machine Vision Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Lead Machine Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge machine vision systems and solutions that will revolutionize our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of machine vision engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced vision systems and algorithms
• Develop and maintain machine vision software and hardware, including cameras, lighting, lenses, and other components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine vision technology and techniques
• Design and implement image processing and analysis algorithms to extract useful information from images
• Develop and maintain image processing libraries and tools for efficient and accurate data analysis
• Debug and troubleshoot issues with machine vision systems and provide timely solutions
• Conduct performance testing and optimization to improve the accuracy and efficiency of machine vision systems
• Mentor and train junior engineers in machine vision principles, techniques, and tools
• Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the capabilities of our machine vision solutions
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate their technologies into our machine vision systems
• Participate in project planning and provide project estimates and timelines
• Document all aspects of machine vision systems, including design, development, and implementation processes
• Stay compliant with all safety and security guidelines and protocols while working on machine vision projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine vision engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of machine vision principles, techniques, and tools, such as OpenCV, MATLAB, and Python
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and other relevant languages
• Experience with image processing, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with hardware and software integration, including cameras, sensors, and control systems
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or MATLAB
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in project management and Agile methodologies is a plus
