Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Edge Computing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with a passion for edge computing and its applications. As a Junior Edge Computing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining edge computing solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior team members to design and develop cutting-edge edge computing solutions for our clients
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in edge computing
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of edge computing hardware and software components
• Develop and maintain software applications for edge computing platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to edge computing systems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of edge computing solutions
• Conduct testing and quality assurance of edge computing systems and applications
• Document and maintain technical specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation
• Provide technical support and training to clients as needed
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to edge computing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on edge computing
• Strong understanding of edge computing concepts, architectures, and protocols
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with edge computing hardware and software platforms (e.g. Raspberry Pi, AWS Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge)
• Knowledge of cloud computing, IoT, and networking technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
