Job Title: Lead Edge Computing Specialist

Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Edge Computing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Edge Computing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge edge computing solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to optimize their edge computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in edge computing technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement edge computing solutions for clients across various industries.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide expert guidance on edge computing strategies.
• Lead a team of edge computing specialists and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Perform thorough assessments of client's edge computing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for edge computing projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in edge computing technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of edge computing solutions with existing systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for edge computing solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and team members on edge computing technologies and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with edge computing projects.
• Prepare and present progress reports and project updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in edge computing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of edge computing architectures, protocols, and security principles.
• Experience with edge computing platforms such as AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, or Google Cloud IoT Edge.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technical professionals.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in edge computing or cloud computing is a plus.
