Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Streaming Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Streaming Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data streaming infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists and software engineers to build and optimize our data pipelines, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data to our analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our data streaming infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to understand their data requirements and design efficient and scalable data pipelines to support their needs.
• Optimize data streaming processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data streaming pipelines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data.
• Implement best practices for data security and data quality assurance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data streaming technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers to help them grow and excel in their roles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud-based data streaming services such as AWS Kinesis or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
