Position Description: As a Lead Distributed Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our distributed systems infrastructure. You will lead a team of talented engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our distributed systems infrastructure
• Lead a team of engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are followed
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Improve system performance and scalability by implementing new technologies and techniques
• Develop and maintain documentation for the distributed systems infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in distributed systems to drive innovation within the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing distributed systems
• Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python or Go
• Experience with distributed systems technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of distributed systems principles and architecture
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
