Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Junior AI Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Junior AI Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) within our organization. You will work closely with our senior AI governance specialists and cross-functional teams to develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to guide the development and deployment of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and goals related to AI.
• Assist in the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential ethical and legal implications of AI solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the ethical and responsible use of AI within the organization.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI governance to educate employees and stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to AI governance.
• Support the development and maintenance of AI governance tools, such as impact assessment frameworks and ethical AI checklists.
• Assist in conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with AI governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and industry experts, to stay informed and aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in AI governance, ethics, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their ethical implications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to AI governance, such as GDPR and IEEE Ethically Aligned Design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proven track record of handling confidential and sensitive information.
