Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for problem-solving? Do you have experience in managing and maintaining complex IT systems? We are currently seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, as well as proactively implement solutions to prevent future problems. Your role will also involve monitoring and maintaining our network and servers, as well as managing software updates and backups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the organization's network, servers, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Proactively identify and implement solutions to prevent recurring technical problems
• Monitor and manage software updates, patches, and backups to ensure the security and stability of our systems
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Manage user accounts and access permissions, ensuring data security and compliance with company policies
• Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing training when necessary
• Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IT technology and make recommendations for improvement to management
• Document all IT processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain an accurate record of our systems
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of network and server administration, including LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions such as AWS or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus
