Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility
Collaborate with the IT department to design and implement new databases
Monitor and optimize database performance
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
Analyze data needs and recommend improvements to existing databases
Implement data quality controls to ensure data integrity
Train end-users on database usage and best practices
Stay current with emerging database technologies and trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Database Analyst or similar role
Strong understanding of database management systems, SQL, and data warehousing
Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
Familiarity with database security and backup procedures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
