Salary: $152000 - $192000

Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and security of our systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to the infrastructure and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage and maintain virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for improvements to our infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all infrastructure systems and processes.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new hardware, software, and services to enhance the infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
• Proactively identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong experience with server administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficient with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus.
