Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data migration processes for our organization. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data migration strategies and solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify potential data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and efficient data migration.
• Implement and execute data migration processes, including data extraction, cleansing, and loading.
• Troubleshoot data migration issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including technical specifications, data validation rules, and testing plans.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain data migration scripts and tools to automate data migration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful data migration.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration or data integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Experience with data modeling and data mapping.
• Familiarity with data migration methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
