Salary: $190000 - $224000

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Backend Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our company's products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our systems, as well as driving innovation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of backend developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to define and implement backend solutions that meet business needs
• Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our company's products, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
• Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards and best practices are followed, and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify and troubleshoot any issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into our backend development processes
• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain our applications in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high quality and bug-free code is released to production

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Extensive experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in the FinTech or e-commerce industry is a plus
